I know, snappy title but as a wise... someone once said "don't let perfection get in the way of progress". An other worldly, glistening, pure white fungus commonly hugging a dead birch tree near you.

By all accounts edible and not unpleasant but ehugh MUCUS FOR DAYS.

This mushroom leads a double life it also contains recently discovered 'Agents', Strobilurins which have anti fungal powers that will prevent and even kill other fungi that it may be in a turf war with. So when you find this mushroom in my experience there's loadsa porcelain.
