Not Paws POURS! Here's another example of aperture reducing to the minuscule when working at the focal limit. I was also using a 26mm extension tube between the lens and the camera body (a cost effective way of gettin riite in theeerre!)

Subject was a big bolete that has been half eaten by folks bigger than worms, maybe horse, cow, pig, criminal the list goes on.
